Monthly Goals for February 2021

Quote of the Day: “Don’t give up because you had a bad day, forgive yourself and do better tomorrow.” One month down (well almost) 11 more to go! So far 2021 seems to be okay…what do you think? At the beginning of January, I made a list of goals or “resolutions” I wanted to focus on for that month. How did I do? My biggest goal was to attempt the Whole30 diet. If you are an avid follower of my blog, then you’ve probably read my Whole30 updates and know that I’ve cheated a little bit, but you know, I’ve done a lot better than…

Helpful Habits I’m Starting in 2021

Quote of the Day: “The fresh start isn’t a new place, it’s a mindset.” Happy New Year! We made it… 2020 is officially in the past. I’m so ready for a fresh start and ready to make this year fabulous regardless of whether we’re stuck at home or not. Here are helpful habits that I’ve started in 2021 (the 3 days of it) and hope to continue all throughout. Sleep Cycle AppI’ve been using the Sleep Cycle app for over 6 months now and it’s become a huge part of my night and morning routine. This app not only tracks your sleep, but also tracks…

Things I Want Accomplish Before Turning 23

Quote of the day: “A month from now… you can either have a month of progress OR a month of excuses why you didn’t.” For the past two years I’ve created a list of things I wanted to accomplish before my upcoming birthday. Well, my 23rd birthday (November 9) is just about two months away and once again I am choosing a few things I want to fulfill. I enjoy doing this because it gives me an actual end date rather than “I want to do this at some point in my life.” Hmm so what to accomplish this year?

Quote of the Day: “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” Have you ever heard of the impossible list? No? Well, good… allow me to introduce you to it. Prior to a few days ago, I’d never heard of the impossible list either until my friend Erin sent me this link. The impossible list was created by Joel Runyon (his name reminds me of my anatomy professor) who was craving more challenge in life. The list helped him go from living in his parents basement to running two businesses. Joel really emphasizes that the impossible list is NOT a bucket list. From my understanding, a bucket list is just a list…

Getting Ready for the New Year

Happy New Year! I hope you are all ready to get after 2020 and be the best person you can be. I am really still in shock that it’s 2020… it has a nice ring to it though. Today, I wanted to share how I get organized for the New Year. I am personally a big fan of creating my own planner and incorporating certain pages to help me stay organized, on top of tasks, and goal-oriented. I use a notebook from Archer & Olive because I like that it has dotted, blank pages. It makes it really easy to customize everything for your needs.…
