Matcha Latte

Matcha lattes have easily become one of my FAVORITE drinks. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, even though I do really like iced vanilla soy lattes, but I do like drinking something other than water and sometimes I do need a little caffeine to get me through the day. So what exactly is matcha? Matcha is powder made from green tea leaves. It basically can act as a coffee replacement and in my opinion tastes so much better. Matcha also has a lot more benefits than coffee. The benefits of matcha include: high in antioxidants energy source without crash or jitters burns calories detoxifies body…

Homemade Almond Milk

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a recipe, but I’m excited to share this one! Homemade almond milk has been my obsession recently. It’s so creamy and tasty and even better it’s so simple to make. Before, I would typically just buy almond milk in the store, but realized that there was a lot of other ingredients going into it that I didn’t necessarily want to consume. I decided to make my own almond milk and fell in love with it instantly. I love homemade almond milk because I can control what goes into it and it just tastes a lot better. I add almond…

Gaining Weight

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Happy Tuesday! It’s weird to be posting on a Tuesday (or at all, recently) because I never do. Today, I want to talk about a topic that I’ve never really discussed on my blog. That topic is…weight. Weight is a very sensitive topic to most people (I think), including myself. So you know how over the summer everyone has their so-called “bikini body” or at least…

My Workout Routine

A few days ago I decided to film myself in the gym to show you what my typical workout looks like. Let me start off by saying that filming in the gym is freaking weird. It’s fine when no one is there, but when there are people there, it’s just uncomfortable. I try and do it as subtly as possible, but I definitely get some stares. Oh well! I workout 4-7 days a week depending on the week and how I feel. Some weeks I feel extremely motivated and ready to get after it. Other weeks all I want to do is sit on the…

How to Stay Healthy When Traveling

Staying healthy when traveling seems nearly impossible when you’re surrounded by buffets, drinks, and desserts. Honestly, how can anyone resist all of that? How can anyone stay healthy? The answer. Well when you’re with my mom, you can’t. As much as she tries and blames our overindulgence and overeating on me, it’s ALL HER… not kidding. However, luckily for all of you (except my dad…hi Shmarkit), you’re not traveling with my mom, so staying healthy might actually be a whole lot easier. Here are some of my top tips to make sure your vacation doesn’t turn into you completely falling off the health wagon. Staying…
