Gaining Weight

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Happy Tuesday! It’s weird to be posting on a Tuesday (or at all, recently) because I never do. Today, I want to talk about a topic that I’ve never really discussed on my blog. That topic is…weight. Weight is a very sensitive topic to most people (I think), including myself. I don’t like to talk about it often because it is so sensitive and I’m also relatively sensitive about my own weight. I thought I’d open up a little and talk about my weight…scary. So you know how over the summer everyone has their so-called “bikini body” or at least…

My Workout Routine

A few days ago I decided to film myself in the gym to show you what my typical workout looks like. Let me start off by saying that filming in the gym is freaking weird. It’s fine when no one is there, but when there are people there, it’s just uncomfortable. I try and do it as subtly as possible, but I definitely get some stares. Oh well! I workout 4-7 days a week depending on the week and how I feel. Some weeks I feel extremely motivated and ready to get after it. Other weeks all I want to do is sit on the…

How to Stay Healthy When Traveling

Staying healthy when traveling seems nearly impossible when you’re surrounded by buffets, drinks, and desserts. Honestly, how can anyone resist all of that? How can anyone stay healthy? The answer. Well when you’re with my mom, you can’t. As much as she tries and blames our overindulgence and overeating on me, it’s ALL HER… not kidding. However, luckily for all of you (except my dad…hi Shmarkit), you’re not traveling with my mom, so staying healthy might actually be a whole lot easier. Here are some of my top tips to make sure your vacation doesn’t turn into you completely falling off the health wagon. Staying…

How I Stay Motivated to Workout

In my last post I mentioned how I workout around 5x a week. I don’t think 5 days is too intense. In fact, I think it is the perfect amount. I think if I went every single day, I’d get burnt out very easily. Working out has really just become a part of my daily routine. Obviously I wasn’t always like this. I’d say middle of senior year of high school is when I really started working out because my mom started to as well. Ever since then I’ve been able to motivate myself and make working out a really big part of my life…it’s…

Summer Fitness Goals

Summer is officially here, thank the lord. I am so stoked to be able to wear shorts and a t-shirt every day! I feel like right before summer starts, everyone is striving to achieve that perfect summer body (whatever the heck that’s supposed to mean) whether that be through diet and/or fitness. In my opinion, I think it’s kind of ridiculous to base those two things around one season. Why not work on both throughout the whole year? Yeah it may be hard, but it can’t be harder than putting all your efforts in for just one season. I’m totally the type of person who…
