Boston: Day 1

I am officially in Boston now and I could not be happier! It is so much quieter and cleaner and just all around better than New York City. It’s honestly my favorite city ever…well maybe besides Hawaii. I hope you enjoyed my New York City posts. Make sure you check back for all my Boston posts! Day One:  This post is going to be rather short because it was more of a travel day than anything. We woke up in New York City and went to the gym. I try and go to the gym as much as possible when I’m on vacation because I…

New York City: Day 3

Back with day three in New York City! This day was really fun because I got to see the one and only Erin Goode. We pretty much spent the whole day together…ew. JK. Day Three:  It was chilly today…colder than the past two days. My mom and I took the subway to the Upper East Side. I love going there because it makes me feel like I’m apart of Gossip Girl or something. Boy am I obsessed with that show. The first time I went to New York, I visited a lot of the famous places that are in that show. When we got off…

New York City: Day 2

Keeping the intro real short today! I’m back with day two of Spring Break in New York City! Day Two:  Day two was just me and my mom. We started the day off going to the Vessel. The Vessel is a new structure down in the Chelsea area. I don’t know if there is any real significance to this structure, but it’s essentially a lot of stairs. It looks like an inverted bird cage I guess. It’s so cool! I recommend going on a weekday if you can…the weekend would be crazy busy! Also, there’s an elevator if you cannot make it to the top,…

New York City: Day 1

It’s officially Spring Break! After a really tough term, I thought a NYC/Boston trip was a must…even though now I wish I kind of choice to go to Hawaii…but I’m still happy I am on the East Coast. I am here with my parents and am in NYC for 3 full days and Boston for 2 full days. I thought I would do a post for each day, so make sure to come back and check out what I do for the rest of the week! Day One:  Day one started off with breakfast at Cookshop in Chelsea. The menu was small, but it had…

Weekend in My Life: Seattle

This past weekend was the last weekend of the term…thank the lord, so my roommate and I stupidly decided to take a spontaneous trip to Seattle. It was so worth it, but it was super dumb for two reasons: one, we have finals this week and two, we were there for around 24 hours only…but YOLO right? I hate myself for writing “YOLO.” I’ve now been to Seattle 5 times and it has easily become one of my favorite cities. I could definitely see myself living there… I just wish it didn’t rain so freaking much! Surprisingly, it didn’t rain too much when we were…
