New Year’s Resolutions: 2020

Christmas is officially over. This Christmas season was so different than any other year. To be completely honest, I just have been having the hardest time being happy. This season magnifies everyone’s lives for the good and bad… and this year it happened to be the bad for me. I hate to admit it, but I am ready for the holidays to be over. I know that New Year’s Resolutions have a bad rap. A lot of people think it’s so dumb to even make them because a month into the New Year, all the resolutions are basically forgotten. I, however, like the idea of…

A Day in the Life: Christmas Eve 2019

Merry Christmas!I can’t believe the day is finally here. It’s crazy how fast this Holiday season went by…well actually every year goes by really fast, but this year felt especially fast. I woke up this morning and realized I still had a bunch of wrapping to do. Christmas Eve is always a fun day filled with family. Today, I thought I would share what my Christmas Eve looks like. The day started off with a lot of cooking, baking, and setting-up. My mom is a perfectionist and has to have everything look a certain way, so it takes a lot of time and effort, but…

Christmas Festivities

The other evening, my family decided to go look at Christmas lights at Filoli House and Garden. Basically, this place is a giant estate that is open to the public and is so nicely decorated and well-kept. There were Christmas lights everywhere…it was magical. I thought I would share a few photos of our Christmas light extravaganza to get you all in the festive mood because Christmas is just a few days away! Doesn’t this look so magical? It was so fun seeing all…

A Noble Thanksgiving

Happy late Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am so happy and grateful that I got to spend it at home with my family and I hope everyone got to spend Thanksgiving with their loved ones! Today I wanted to share a little about my Thanksgiving break! Wednesday (Day Before Thanksgiving):  This is one of the most hectic days of the holiday season. Thanksgiving is always at my house and my parents love to go all out (even if it’s just for eight people), so my mom and dad are in the kitchen from morning to night preparing for Thanksgiving day. While…

My Three Favorite Podcasts

I’ve never been a podcast listener until very recently. I felt like everyone was always raving about their favorite podcasts or raving about podcasts that have helped them in life, but I just never understood the appeal. I tried listening to so many different podcasts, but never found any that entertained me enough or that trumped listening to music. I was almost going to give up on podcasts, but happened to come across one that really caught my attention. Ever since, I’ve found more podcasts that I’ve enjoyed and I guess I can officially called an avid podcast listener. Here are my top three podcasts. …
